Sometimes you just get so caught up in your own life that you forget to look at all the things around you, you forget about all the good in your life, all the small stuff that makes you smile. I love thanksgiving not just because of the good food and good company but because it gives you time to reflect on all the things you usually disregard during the rest of the year. This year, I did more reflection than usual. UOP is where I am suppose to be, but it is definately not where my heart is. My heart is here in San Jose, in San Diego, in Irvine, in Davis, in Santa Cruz, in all the places my friends and family are. This thanksgiving I am thankful for having all the people I most care about in a 50 mile radius, I am thankful for an amazing family, for wonderful friends, for a boyfriend I love with all my heart, for taking a step closer to my future, for good food, for my grandma that i miss dearly, for San Jose but most importantly for a heart that is able to love and is loved.
